Spoken Sounds ( allophones )
1. Syllabic consonants ( t, g, n, m, s, ss ) are articulated as
initial consonants of following vowels.
2. Initial consonants ( b, g ) are pronounced unvoiced and
unstressed at beginning in very short duration followed
by voiced ( b, g ). [‘] mark is used.
3. Vowels are expressed clearly by adding light glottal [‘].
4. [l] sound between vowels is spoken [r], which is soft
sound of [l].
5. Articulated strongly once.
6. Syllabic consonants ( g, b, ss, ch,) as a part of morpheme
are spoken, not exploded ( k’, p’, t’ ).
7. ( d, b, g ) are spoken as hard sounds ( dd, bb, gg ).
8. ( s, ss ) sounds followed by ( i, y ) are always palatalized
to ( sh, ssh ).
9. ( u^i ) is the only diphthong, which is pronounced equally.
